What To Do At Vision Expo East 2017

Complimentary, Professional Headshots

When was the last time you refreshed your personal, professional headshot? It's easy for time to fly and your photos to become outdated. So if you're needing a new professional headshot stop by the VisionWeb Booth, MS4841 on Friday or Saturday during the show and get a complimentary headshot taken by our professional photographer. Your new headshot will be sent straight over to your email for you to use however you'd like.

When: Friday, 3/31 from Noon - 4pm and Saturday, 4/1 from 11am - 3pm

ODs on Facebook Party

Looking for a casual event to mingle with others in the optical world? ODs on Facebook is hosting a party at the BB King Blues Club and Grill open to all ophthalmic professionals curently a member of the social group or looking to join. Come grab a free drink in a fun atmosphere and make some new in-person connections.

When: Friday, 3/31 8pm - 9pm

EyeRock: Rockin' for New Eyes

Rockin' for New Eyes is a benefit concert for New Eyes for the Needy. All proceeds of the event provide new eyeglasses to children and adults in financial need living in the United States. Since 1932 New Eyes has provided clear vision to over 8 million people living in the United States and throughout the world.

General admission to the event is $50, and VIP tickets including open bar, light food, and access to a private area go can be purchased for $250. Get your tickets for the concert here.

OWA Champagne Breakfast

The OWA Champagne Breakfast is a great, intimate event to network with women leaders in the industry, and to honor the OWA's annual award winners. Seating is limited at this event, so you'll need to RSVP for your $55 ticket ahead of time. This year's OWA award winners include 2017 Pleiades Award Honoree, Kate Renwick-Espinosa (VSP), Pyxis Award Honoree, Lorie Lippiatt, OD (The Salem Eyecare Center), and Pinnacle Award Honoree, Corinne McCormack (FGX International).

The breakfast will feature an intimate conversation with Dori Carlson, OD, FAAO, Past President of the American Optometric Association and owner/optometrist at Heartland Eye Care, in an interactive Q&A with OWA President Maureen Cavanagh. Breakfast and a champagne toast will be served. RSVP here.

Vision Monday Global Leadership Summit
