Modern Enhancements Coming to Uprise EHR/PM

It's no secret that technology is constantly changing, and our industry is no exception. Today, modern ODs are looking for ways to streamline their practice operations, keep up with the ever-changing billing landscape, and increase their efficiency - all while providing the very best patient care. Since it's inception, our goal for Uprise has been the same... to make it easier for eyecare providers to do their jobs.

Last year, we embarked on a journey with the aim of revolutionizing the way our users interact with Uprise. Today, we'd like to share some of the new and upcoming transformative features and enhancements!

Workflow Improvements, UI/UX Enhancements, & New Certifications

EHR Exam Layout

We’ve revamped the entire EHR exam layout for an enhanced user experience! Starting with the design, we updated the text, spacing, headers, and color palate, to provide the user with better visual cues in each section for a more organized exam layout. We've also added a new left panel exam navigation and redsigned buttons to make the user experience more modern and efficient. Ultimately these features reduce tedious scroll time by having the ability to quickly navigate to different areas of the exam - right when you need to! These upgrades complement the new modern design that will be implemented across the entire platform.

Physical Exam

We heard the feedback regarding our old physical exam, and improving the user experience was just as important for this feature. The result is a one-screen layout with quick jump links and default actions that aligns with the new user interface. Now, users are able to stay within the entire context of the exam without restricting the ability to see previous information, allowing for more efficient clinical decision-making. The new layout also compliments the individual user's workflow, by providing multiple ways to complete the exam - whether that's from top to bottom, or left to right. This upgrade makes the physical exam process faster and more intuitive.

Worklist

Reviewing unsigned exams and managing referrals has never been easier with our new Worklist! This highly requested feature supports ODs in performing necessary clinical tasks across patients - in a new modern design. Quickly review and sign off on your patients’ exams all on one page, or streamline the referral management gap by tracking and maintaining all of your referrals in a high-level, easy-to-see view.

Device Connect

Our all-new device manager processes data from over 70 different ophthalmic instruments, directly into Uprise. And that's not all! Our new wizard functionality takes the guesswork out of adding new devices. The new interface guides the user through a step-by-step process, ensuring the devices are connected seamlessly in no time! This refreshed application boasts a modern design, improved security and performance, and an easy-to-use device setup from start to finish.

New Invoice

Coming soon, we will have some critical updates to the invoice - from a sleek design overhaul, to key workflow enhancements. Users will soon have the ability to apply discounts directly to an order, rather than doing it at the v code level! Additionally, users will be able to delete open invoices, and update insurance information from the invoice screen - without having to go back to the Rx order. These changes may seem small, but they'll save crucial time and effort!

End of Day Close

Reconciling your cash drawer at the end of the day just got easier! The new End of Day Close feature will help to easily track any variances between your receipts and your bank's records and even allows you to add notes if there’s a variance. With just a few clicks, you can enter your daily receipts and see where any discrepancies might be. Plus, you can reference past days' closings for a quick comparison. This feature is a game-changer for managing your cash flow and ensuring accuracy in your records.

Cures Certification

FHIR MedalWe pride ourselves on staying up-to-date with the latest certifications and ensuring ongoing compliance. As part of this effort, Uprise has achieved the latest certification of the cures act, with the Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) standard. FHIR is a critical standard for healthcare information exchange, ensuring seamless interoperability between different systems. As a FHIR-compatible software, Uprise will now have the ability to integrate with a wide range of SMART apps that use the FHIR standard. The new FHIR certification is a significant milestone, and we look forward to bringing you even more opportunities to help streamline your practice workflows.
