VisionWeb's 2021 Website Redesign

After many months of hard work and dedication, we are pleased to finally show off the new design for our website. Our website is now more user-friendly, easier to navigate, and the all-in-one platform for each of our products; Uprise EHR & PM, Revenue Cycle Management, and Online Ordering by VisionWeb.

It’s important for us to make information regarding our services easily accessible for our current and prospective eyecare practices. We strive to provide our clients and partners with the most accurate, up-to-date information and share our knowledge and expertise in the field of optometry software, revenue cycle management, and online ordering.

An Interview with Janelle Pauli, VisionWeb's Director of Marketing

Ever since VisionWeb’s Director of Marketing, Janelle Pauli, began her role she understood that a new website would be critical in both VisionWeb’s success and our client's success. In the following interview, Janelle shares the complex challenges of launching a new website– including mistakes to avoid and critical factors for success, as well as what to look forward to on our new site.

From conception to rollout, what are your top tips for launching a new website?Untitled design (39)

Whether you’re hiring someone for freelance work, collaborating with an internal team/employee, or outsourcing the full project to a specialized agency, take the time to thoughtfully choose the right partner for the project. These types of projects are not quick or easy, so the right partner could make or break the project. Once you’ve built your team, look for inspiration from other websites and designers to help you better communicate what it is you are and aren’t looking for in your specific vision for your website. Lastly, and I can’t stress this enough, communicate often and early with your collaborators and teammates. Whether it’s just asking questions, providing feedback, or setting specific timelines and expectations, you can never over-communicate the needs of your project.

What are the biggest highlights on the new website? What do you think Optometrists and eyecare professionals will be excited to see?

Ultimately, we wanted our website to be more engaging for our visitors allowing them to easily understand who we are as a company and what our products and services offer all while providing educational content and an enjoyable experience as they find the information most important to them. Oftentimes, a website is a customer's first impression of a brand, so it’s important that your website reflects the same attributes as your products and services offer.

Untitled design (44)We’ve also built up a substantial library of resources for eyecare providers, whether it’s in the form of blog articles, on-demand webinars, or free downloadable eBooks we wanted to make all of that content easily accessible to the people who will benefit from it most.

How does the new website position VisionWeb moving forward?

We’re really sticking to our mission of, Creating Every Day Solutions for Profitable Practices. The goal of each of our products and services is to provide efficiencies and time-savings that allow an eyecare practice to be more successful and have more time to spend on growing their business and planning for whatever the next step is they want to take with their practice.

We want our website to be an inside look at who we are as a company and where we are going in the future. Our team is fully dedicated to innovating our suite of products and services to meet the changing needs of the eyecare industry.

Thanks to the amazing staff at VisionWeb who made this possible!
