The past year and a half has really been a journey for us into the realm of social media in eyecare as we've tried to find out just exactly how it fits into the industry. Sure, we all had our own Facebook pages, and many of us were already active on Twitter, most of us also had a blog, but it was all in a personal capacity and not for VisionWeb as a company. Fortunately, it didn't take us long to realize that we were really missing out! We are way too excited about this industry to miss anything, so we got our social media presence going and have been moving full speed ahead ever since. Have you ever had a large list of information that you wanted to display in a fun and creative way? As we all know, a long list isn’t the most fun to look at or actually read, but if we take our list and turn it into a word cloud we can take the dull and mundane and make it into something bright and attention grabbing. For example, VisionWeb usually lists it’s suppliers in a long list on the VisionWeb website,but that list is a lot more fun to look at if it’s made into a word cloud!
